Productive Spinning Workshop

Saturday, August 26th, 9am - 5pm

 

$90 (Includes $10 material fee)

10 students min. - 15 students maximum

Class Description:  This workshop explores what it takes to be amore competent, productive spinner.  Stephanie will assess and improve efficiency, consistency and productivity.

Prerequisites:  All Levels of spinners will benefit from this workshop.  Students must be able to spin a continuous thread.

Bring: A spinning wheel  in good working order, a chair (optional) and a brown bag lunch.

To sign up: This class will be open to the first 15 paid registrants.

Registration must be paid by July 1st.

Fees are not refundable after August 1st.

Once the class fills, a notice will be emailed and a waiting list established.

Honey Bee Festival

September 9 & 10 2017

Visit our booth at the festival.  We will have real alpacas and alpaca products and a weaving demonstration.

The Festival features two full days of attractions for your enjoyment - "Live Bee Beard" demonstrations and other honey bee related activities: special children's entertainment area: Antique Tractor display and parade: wonderful entertainment on stage: lots of food and booths.  They kick off each morning with a Pancake Breakfast.

 

National Alpaca Farm Days

It's Fun and it's FREE!

Saturday, September 30, 2017 10 am - 4 pm

Join us for our 6th annual open house on National Alpaca Farm Days.  We are joining alpaca ranchers across the US and Canada opening our ranch so you can meet the alpacas face to face.  Walk through our pastures and experience the gentle nature of our alpacas.

Bring your camera to take pictures with the alpacas. Learn about the alpaca and the life style directly from your local alpaca ranchers. Watch demonstrations of spinning, weaving and other fiber activities.

Start your holiday shopping early in our boutique where you'll find alpaca apparel and products.

Bring your knitting or crocheting and join us for the afternoon.

 

Lambtown - Visit our booth

The Lambtown Festival is held at the Dixon Fairgrounds,655 South 1st St., Dixon . Dixon is 25 miles west of Sacramento and 5 miles west of Davis on I-80; from the San Francisco Bay Area, it's about 5 miles east of Vacaville.
