What a wonderful day. We had over 600 visitors. They were able to walk through the pastures and visit with the alpacas. We were giving talks and Steve and Lin from Lassen View Alpacas were here to help and talk alpacas to the attendees. Fiber Artist were demonstrating spinning, weaving, carding and bobbin lace. Hot dogs, chips and water were available as well as wine tasting for the adults with a big thanks to my neighbor Matson’s Vineyard. We had a Kid’s of all ages activity area where you could learn to make fiber ball, color an alpaca face mask. The alpacas were fat and happy after all the pellets they got all day long. In all it was a great day. If you missed it put it on your calendar the LAST Saturday in September 30th 2017.
